Harold Williams Memorial Library

15 Maddock Street, Mukinbudin (at the Shire Office)

Opening Times

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

The Mukinbudin Library stocks a full range of library resources including: Adult Fiction, Non Fiction, Young Adult, Junior Fiction and Junior Kindy. In these categories we have a variety of books (including large print), audio books (CD), and DVDs.

Our library is stocked primarily by the State Library of WA and therefore we have access to their entire collection. Having access to this stock means that readers can request books/items of their choice which we can then source from other libraries, usually within a couple of weeks.

Mukinbudin Public Library Members are now able to browse the State Library website, check out items with a valid library card, and download to PC, Mac®, and many mobile devices, though this service is not available for Kindle devices in Australia at this time. To read eBooks, users will need Adobe® Digital Editions, which can be downloaded from the same site . Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod®, Sony® Reader™, and many others. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees!

WA Library members will be able to check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting borrow box :

State Library Catalogue

Do you realise that you can order books from anywhere in the state. If we don't have the book or item you are after why not look on the State Library Website at the Catalogue. If you find what you are looking for just let us know the title and author if possible and we will order it in for you. It takes approximately 2 weeks to arrive depending on the demand for the item.
