Australia Day Awards

The Shire of Mukinbudin's 2009 Australia Day Award recipients are:

    Citizen of the Year  Amy Shepard

    Group of the Year    Muka Matters

The Mukinbudin Planning & Development Group in conjunction with the Shire of Mukinbudin hosted a BBQ tea and presentation for the local 2009 Australia Day Awards. Held at the Swimming Pool in Mukinbudin the event was a great way to celebrate the achievements of some of the locals. Mukinbudin also welcomed a new citizen Kim Watson originally from Canada being sworn in at the ceremony.

Expressions of Interest: Community Funding

The Mukinbudin Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from not-for-profit incorporated community groups and organisations with project and program funding needs in 2009/2010.

Financial assistance in the form of direct grants or self supporting loans will be considered by Council when developing the 2009/2010 Annual Budget. Applicants will be expected to contribute towards the project or program cost.
