Harold Williams Memorial Library
15 Maddock Street, Mukinbudin (at the Shire Office)
Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm
The Mukinbudin Library stocks a full range of library resources including: Adult Fiction, Non Fiction, Young Adult, Junior Fiction and Junior Kindy. In these categories we have a variety of books, videos, audio cassettes, CD-Roms, DVD's and compact disks. We also host a paperback exchange.
Our library is stocked primarily by the State Library of WA and therefore we have access to their entire collection. Having access to this stock means that readers can request books/items of their choice which we can then source from other libraries, usually within a couple of weeks.
Mukinbudin Public Library Members are now able to browse the State Library website, check out items with a valid library card, and download to PC, Mac®, and many mobile devices, though this service is not available for Kindle devices in Australia at this time. To read eBooks, users will need Adobe® Digital Editions, which can be downloaded from the same site . Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod®, Sony® Reader™, and many others. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees!
WA Library members will be able to check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting http://wapldmc.lib.overdrive.com
Just use your Library Card Number and Mukinbudin Library's Pin 6479 to access and download books for your enjoyment.
Rhyme Time is held every second Wednesday (the opposite Wednesday to Playgroup). Come along with your babies and toddlers for some great rhyming and singing fun.
